    Hello Freinds today in this post we are going to discuss about "What is e-commerce".In this post you will know about introduction of e-commerce, so lets start:-
    Friends in ancient time doing  business is so simple. That time only one thinking was present that is companies sould work according to market and customer. That time there was no internet, no smart card, no debit card are present. When internet arrived then there were lot of changes occurs in customer's shopping and in companies selling.

    In late 1990's.The Internet boom came, the dot com excitement, venture capital money being invested into the technology startups, the stock market at all time high.However, those days have come and gone, and many of us have learned lessons from that time period, in the last couple of years. However, there is one outcome of internet boom that has really survived and will continue to be a very dominant froce in the worldwide economy. That is E-commerce.

    If we talk about definition of e-commerce then that is  "A type of business model that enables a firm or individual to conduct business over an electronic network, typically the internet. E-commerce operate all major market segments: business to business, business to consumer, consumer to consumer, consumer to business."

    E-commerce is trading in products or services using computer networks, such as the Internet. E-commerce draws on technologies such as mobile commerce, electronic fund transfer, supply chain management systems, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, EDI, inventory managment sysytems and automated data collection systems. Modern electronic commerce typically uses the World Wide Web for at least one part of the transaction's life cycle, although it may also use other technologies such as e-mail. E-commerce businesses may employ online shopping sites for retail sales direct to consumers,providng or particpating in online marketplace, which process third-party business to consumer or consumer to consumer sales, business to business buying and selling, gathering and using demographic data through web cotacts and social media, Business to business electronic data interchange..

    Now let focus on some important point of e-commerce. These points are:-
    • Trading in product or services using computer network, such as the internet
    • E-commerce draws on technologies such as electronic funds transfer, Digital marketing, Automated data collection systems etc
    • It uses the World Wide Web for at least one part of the transaction's life cycle,it may also use other technologies such as e-mail
    • It may employ online shopping web sites for retail sales direct to consumers,providing or participating in online market places.
